⁣I broke my finger⁣🤬

I trapped it between a wardrobe door and it hurt like hell. I almost freaking wet my pants and the obscenities I screamed would have made my mum cringe... I'm pretty sure the neighbours heard me. ⁣😬

But... these things happen.⁣

I will be out of my normal routine for a while and can’t box for 4-6 weeks. Old Charlotte, would have beaten herself up, criticised herself, called herself stupid, you're an idiot. I would have gone down a spiral, being devastated as this 'limits' my exercise routine. I'd gain weight, what would people think. I would have been in a deep dark hole of criticism, which would have ended in wine, chocolate, tears, a new diet tomorrow and me feeling like crap.⁣

This has been very different.⁣
I am kind to myself. ⁣
I am enjoying the difference in pace and routine. ⁣
I haven’t criticised myself and I have leaned back into loving my body on an even deeper level (reiki has been my painkiller). ⁣

If you are waking up today, criticising yourself for something you said/did/ate/drank, or your lack of exercise or your productivity this weekend.⁣

This is your reminder not to let something from the past stop you from living your life today! ⁣

Your decisions yesterday around food/exercise DO NOT DICTATE your decisions today NOR are they a measure of your worth or your enoughness. ⁣

Don’t let your thoughts about what is gone and in the past make you feel like you are bad/a terrible person and need to punish yourself.⁣

You are enough⁣
You are worthy⁣
You don’t need to beat yourself up for another second. ⁣
You get to choose how you think, feel and believe⁣

So lovely, choose you today. 💕⁣
